Actors Make-up

Here are pictures of how the actress playing the ghost and the actor playing the little boy were made-up for filming my Film Opening:

Costumes for my characters

THE MOTHER

Past

• Casual clothes - jumper, jeans and trainers.

Present

• Again Casual Clothes, a little more modern 

THE SON

Past

• T-Shirt, jogging bottoms and trainers.

THE GHOST

Past

• Long black dress.
• Black wig.
• Cuts and blood all over her face.
• Black shoes.

Present

• The same clothes she wore in the past as she is a ghost, so will keep the same clothes on throughout the years.

This is similar to what I want my ghost  to look like.

Props

Props I am going to use:

• Toys scattered around the room and used for playing with.
• Chairs
• Tables
• Skateboard
• Various Kitchen equipment scattered around the Kitchen.
• Clinic Bed.

Locations for Film Opening

I will film my whole Film Opening in my Grandmas house. I will film the scenes where the son is being killed in the living room as it looks old and there is lots of space. There is also a suitable door which I can film the action through.

To film the scenes with the mother in I will use my Grandmas clinic room, as it is the setting that I want to make it look like she is in a hospital where they are treating her condition. 

Overall, I chose my Grandmas house as it has been standing there for years, so it looks and feels very old. It is also very spooky as there are many dark, musty and small rooms which add to the scary atmosphere that I could create in my Film Opening.
